Who is this course for? Any Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Nurse, Massage Therapist or Doctor looking to expand their therapeutic horizons. A precise and light-to-the-touch therapy recognized by the medical community and insurance companies, Dr. Vodder's Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) is the ideal healing therapy that helps reduce swelling and increases the body's natural healing response.

Course lectures -5 days- detail the anatomy and physiology of the lymph vessel system, fluid balance and the body's transportation system along with the effects and contra-indications of MLD. Practical hands-on training includes instruction in MLD techniques and protocols for treating specific body parts. (40 hours)

These courses are recognized through NCBTMB as a CE course under Category A provider #049736-00 This is the first week of a 4-week training course to be a certified Lymphedema Therapist in the original Dr. Vodder Method.

ABOUT ANNE BRAMHAM
With more than 25 years of professional experience as consultant, teacher, therapist and designer of spa therapies. Anne Bramham is the founder of ASTECC (American Spa Therapy and Education Certification Council) and the owner of the Bramham Institute in West Palm Beach, Florida. An instructor of Manual Lymph Drainage with the Vodder School since 1995, Anne opened the first hospital based Lymphedema treatment center in South Florida. In recent years Anne has been instrumental in introducing MLD to the Spa and Wellness community. In 2005 she introduced the Vodder sponsored Spa Body Certification program to serve as a bridge between the medical use of MLD and the world of wellness. The program facilitates the use of MLD in conjunction with spa therapies and rehabilitation from cosmetic surgery and has been adopted by a number of resort spas including Mobil's first ever 5 Star Award Winning Montage Spa.
